ELA publishes the EURES Report on labour shortages and surpluses 2023

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, EURES encountered unparalleled challenges. In response, it swiftly embraced digitalisation, expanded its EOJDs, and automated its matching processes. However, the Commission’s report on EURES activity highlights that despite these developments, EURES has yet to realise its full potential.

Hundreds of trucks and buses were checked by enforcement officers in February in six Member States. In total 324 infringements were identified.
EURES, the European network of Employment Services has helped jobseekers and workers to find opportunities in 31 countries across Europe already 30 years.
