Cooperating to apply and enforce social legislation in the air transport sector: mutual learning from practice

The Workshop, organised in the context of the ELA's programme ‘Transport Support’, is dedicated to the national authorities from EU and EEA countries in charge of the enforcement of employment and social rules in the air transport sector. The Workshop is conducted in a form of a training on enforcement practices and participants are also discussing the upcoming draft report ‘Enforcement of labour mobility and social security coordination rules for aircrew member’ (Q1 2025).

With this workshop, ELA favours the training of national enforcement authorities in the field while consoling a network of national experts on social legislation in the air transport sector and responds to an insistent requests by stakeholders in the field (social partners) for ELA to take action, including training national authorities.

European Commission and EASA (the EU Aviation Safety Agency) are also participating.
