Meeting of Proximity correspondents France/Portugal

This event is organised to connect the two Member states' needs and the possibilities that can be offered by ELA in terms of support for cooperation. 

Since 2017, France and Portugal have developed a strong and structured cooperation in the field of labour mobility involving not only labour inspectorates but also social security inspectorates. This cooperation involves also IMI correspondents that are clearly identified in each MS for exchanges concerning bilateral cases. Both Member States are meeting each year in order to take stock of the concrete actions they have developed during the year and the follow-up actions taken or to be implemented. They also decide about future actions that are to be implemented during the year to come. Discussions were centred on concrete cases of fraud/ abuse of law as uncovered during inspection activities executed in both Member States.
