ELA, in collaboration with Belgian Social Information and Investigation Service (SIOD), organises a comprehensive two-day national training session for Belgian Labour and Road Transport Inspectors. This training aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of inspectors in enforcing EU regulations on labour mobility and social security coordination. The event covers a wide range of topics, including the posting of workers and right of residence, residence permits, work permits, single permits, posting of third-country nationals, administrative obligations, and the rights of posted workers.
Participants benefit from expert-led sessions, panel discussions, and practical case studies, providing them with the tools and insights needed to address the challenges of cross-border employment effectively.
The training features key speakers from the ELA and various Belgian authorities, offering a unique opportunity for inspectors to engage with experts and peers. The agenda includes sessions on labour law, social security legislation, and the well-being and safety of workers, ensuring a holistic approach to the enforcement of EU rules.
This event is part of the ELA's ongoing efforts to support Member States in ensuring fair, simple, and effective enforcement of labour mobility and social security coordination rules across the EU.
