Description
ELA organises the fourth edition of the Training Programme on the Basics of EU Labour Mobility on 20-22 May 2025, in Bucharest, Romania. The fourth edition of this annual training develops upon the lessons learnt from the first editions, that were held in Brussels, Valletta and Zagreb in the past three years.
This training aims at providing participants with a first introduction and general overview of the main topics, such as social rights and labour mobility in the EU, free movement of workers, social security coordination, posting, practical examples of transnational cooperation, etc. Further insight in the practical challenges that exist in the field of transnational cooperation will be provided by simulation sessions on EU labour mobility within the sectors (construction sector, seasonal work and road transport). Finally, the last day of the training provides participants to share experiences from their Member States about recent phenomena affecting EU labour markets–labour shortages, COVID-19 and teleworking, influx of TCN (Third Country Nationals) workers.
