Description

In line with its mandate, ELA aims at strengthening cooperation with a wide range of MS representatives holding competences in the areas of labour mobility and social security law. The workshop is organised as a platform for open and transparent exchange of information and good practices between different representatives of MS public authorities (relevant ministries) to their embassies in other EU MS, centred around the two main topics of interest for ELA’s mandate: labour mobility and social security coordination.

The main objective of the event is to build bridges of knowledge and expertise between Member States representatives on one side, and between them and ELA on the other. The aim is to  identify challenges of EU labour mobility and social security coordination and ways to support fair labour mobility and access to social security for mobile workers.

The meeting will also have an operational-based approach in order to allow participants to share their experiences and best practices on the mentioned topics.

Additionally, the workshop aims to explore prospects for future collaboration with ELA encompassing areas such as enforcement activities, relevant information dissemination, risk assessment, or further cooperation initiatives.
