Working Group on Inspections carries out meetings via videoconference

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, ELA’s working group on inspections is carrying out its regular meetings video conferencing. At the meeting on 27 April, Member States discussed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and possible adaptation measures in the field of cross-border concerted and joint inspections.

The feedback of participants on meeting online has been very positive. Over 30 experts from Member States, social partners, the European Parliament and ELA took part in this meeting.

Cooperation across Member States is under the current circumstances more important than ever. The work to set-up ELA inspections facility continues: the goal is to be prepared to come back on the field whenever possible. The Working Group on Inspections should meet again in June.
