The report Effective information provision on seasonal work: key takeaways from ELA mutual learning workshops 2022  is a result of three mutual learning and exchange workshops on information provision to mobile seasonal workers and their employers ELA organised in 2022. It draws upon the discussions among stakeholders engaged in information provision on seasonal work from 10 Member States participating in the workshops, and summarises lessons learnt, good practices and the detected potential for improvement. Insights from the report may serve as inspiration for practitioners engaged in filling information gaps across Europe.

Seasonal work is an essential feature of the EU economy and labour market. The role of free movement of workers for well-functional seasonal work became even more obvious during the mobility restrictions in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
